Argosy Chicago Clinical Psychology PsyD Students
Donation protected
Argosy University Chicago is closing today and it feels like a funeral. Illinois School of Professional Psychology Students no longer can see their future clearly. There’s nothing set up for a transfer to another school as far as we know. Student loan stipends were withheld this semester, which many students relied upon for things like rent, transportation, food, and medical expenses. I know I did.
Not everyone has a family to help or a friend to turn to or a job interview they can easily scramble for. Your kindness could make the difference. One more day before the eviction notice comes, one more filled prescription for their child, another bag of groceries, or another tank of gas to go to job interviews. These students put everything on hold to go to school and see patients full time and some even had side jobs too.
This sort of blindsiding life change, especially for those who were about to graduate in 2 months, can be stifling. Please consider bringing some Hope into their world with a donation that says “we stand by you.”
There are about 180 students in the program and if that many people donate $25 each we can meet our goal, giving each person a little bit more than they had before. Please consider. Thanks!
