Support Ronda's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
This is more than a fundraiser but a support to help bring a mother home to her children and a grandmother home to her grandkids by providing to the necessities that are needed for Ronda's recovery and needs to live at home in comfort with family. Support our family as we have to transition into a home where my mom can live with us, getting the care she needs around the clock.

This is a few years ago as you can see these boys love their Nana! These boys are now 18 (Isaiah), 17 (Daniel), 16 (Sam), 16 (David-Xavier), 15 (Shaun), and 15 (Jacob). They all frequent the hospital and bring her spirits up.

Ronda Wischnowsky, my mother, was hospitalized on October 5th, 2024, for multiple illnesses. Due to these illnesses, she had to be intubated and stayed that way for over 8 days. During that period, it was discovered she was septic, had a stroke, and had numerous seizures within her brainstem. After extubation, she was moved out of the ICU and stayed on the rehabilitation floor where she had to relearn how to eat, feed herself, dress herself, bathe, talk, perform normal daily functions, and attempt to walk.

As of November 8th, 2024, Ronda had been released from the hospital but needed to live with family instead of on her own. We were supplied with a walker and have been donated a wheelchair; however, we still need to move so she can live with us, get her a hospital bed, assist devices for the bathroom, and more. She would have had home health care and a long road of physical therapy in an attempt to regain mobility and stability as she moves. We ask for additional support to raise the funds to make all this happen so she can get the care she needs.

On November 10th we had to call an ambulance and mom was readmitted to the hospital. By the 11th she was intubated again. Many touch-and-go days when her body was attempting to shut down. On November 19th she was successfully extubated and started recovery. There have been a few days where she was going uphill on the journey and then fell right back down struggling to get her body to fight.

She has 6 grandsons that are wanting her home for the holidays and miss her.

Can you help make my Mom's and her grandkids' dream come true by donating and helping us bring her home for Christmas?
