On Thursday, 6/20/2019 our family experienced a horrible tragedy. While making a family trip to visit our new Airman in Mississippi, a man ran their car off the highway resulting in the death of my cousin and multiple injuries to my grandmother. This happened nearly 20 hours away from our home in New York. The expenses are piling up for my aunt and we are trying to find a way to get my grandmother home to heal with her family. We have multiple family members still in Mississippi to ensure that she is getting taken care of. Due to her injuries, she has broken ribs, pelvis and broken arm and other complications causing her to be in ICU, she is unable to sit up and travel by motor vehicle so she needs a medical flight home. The funds will be shared out with my aunt and uncle for the expenses related to the loss of their son and the rest will be going to help with my grandmother's expenses.
