Baby Hudson was born at the end of June with glaucoma and a cataract in one eye as well as a clogged tear duct in the other. His parents Emilie and Brandon just moved back home to PEI in June to be around for our grandmothers last days before going into palliative care and then passing at the beginning of July. The move was very hard financially as Emilie needed to be put off work early so she could be induced early. After a last minute trip to the IWK they have yet another last minute trip. This time they have to go to Toronto because there is only one surgeon in Canada that can do the surgery on babies that Hudson needs. Hudson has the risk of losing his vision if he doesn’t get this surgery in the next few weeks. The surgeon wanted them in Toronto by end of week and highly advises not going much longer before getting the surgery. Unfortunately Ronald macdonald house will not be able to help them because of there being kids much sicker than hudson who’s parents need the beds. They will need to pay for a hotel for a week at minimum. I am looking for some financial help to make this trip doable for them. Thank you so much for reading and thank you for any help we receive.
