NHS AND FRONTLINE WORKER CARE PACKAGES

Crawley RFC being a community club always want to help the local community where possible and we have decided to try and raise some funds in order to purchase some pamper items to donate to our hard working NHS and frontline workers who have been working so hard during this pandemic.
we have teamed up with a local volunteer group: Caring for Carers who have been hand making scrubs, ear savers, lavender pouches all of which have been distributed to NHS settings, schools and care home across the south east, our newest Partner to join us are The Greenaway Foundation who work closely with schools supporting families in need during these unprecedented times.
the care sets we are collating are being dropped off at hospitals and NHS hubs to be given out to all NHS workers to take a couple of items each to use at home after a long and hard day or night at work to help them relax and unwind.
these key workers are working so hard to protect us all and deserve a nice gesture in order to unwind after what can be both mentally and physically challenging shifts and Crawley RFC volunteers are working hard along with our partners to collect donated gift items and purchasing products to add to the gift sets to be sent out to the hospitals as a way of showing how much the community and wider public care about our NHS heroes.
we asked NHS workers we know what could be done to support them more and they said any pampering products would be greatly received. over 18,500 items including ear savers, scrubs and lavender pouches along with pamper packages have so far been donated and distributed to NHS workers who have been so overwhelmed by the donations since April 2020 all with virtually no funding! imagine what we could do together with funding.
we appreciate during lockdown getting donations dropped off it difficult so we have decided to setup this crowdfund so those wanting to help support the rugby club in getting products for the NHS workers can make a donation of any size and we will order and collect products using these funds to add to the donations and deliver to them the NHS workers.
now more than ever we rely on these Key workers to protect us all and feel this is a great way to show how much we care about them all and what they do for us day in day out putting their lives on the line to protect us all when we need them most.
all donations raised will go towards purchasing the following items or similar to donate
Hands creams
foot creams
bath and shower items
perfume and body sprays
scented candles
foot soaks,
individual teas and coffee sachets
materials for making scrubs and ear savers
please help us achieve our goal of being able to support our NHS heroes and reach as many of them as possible
