Go Naomi ♡

Meet my neice Naomi she has one heck of a story for being only 7 years old. 7 medications , 15 doctors appointments, A 5 day stay at the Mankato hospital.. during that week they put a tube up through her nose and into her stomach to help suck up any/all waste, the medicine they were pumping into her through the tube made her very sick to the point where she just sat in the tub vomiting uncontrollably. As of yesterday she has been seen at the U of M in Rochester in for the 2nd time in which she was sedated and had been given a therapeutic enema.. Naomi will be sedated for a 3rd time next week to undergo surgery to hopefully get her cleared out.. although theres still that lingering question WHAT is causing her to become backed up in the first place? Will it ever end? Naomi meets with 2 specialists in Mankato and 2 specialists in Rochester regularly. They have her taking 3 cap fulls of miralax a day and fiber gummies aswell as adding extra fiber to her diet (when she is willing to actually eat, depending how her stomach is feeling) she has designated times of the day where she has to spend sitting on the toilet.. the last 2 years she has been in and out of pull ups with going back to school, losing control of her bowel movements/bladder as you can imagine this problem in itself is heartbreaking to watch your child go through when they are a few months short from being 8 years old. I'm asking anyone to share this and please help out in any way you can this has been emotionally and mentally draining on my sister and neice.. with Raven having to cut down her work hours to part time for appointments and naomi missing so much school with all the hospital stays you would never realize that parking at a hospital only for a few short hours (or days) could cost so much or the gas to make that 2 hour drive one way. They deserve some weight lifted off their shoulders this has been going on far to long. **I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated and everyone who has shared Naomi's story.
