As some of you may have heard Mike's Dad and Step Mom ( Mike and Christine) had a terrible fire at their house in Granby this past weekend. The fire was started due to a fault in the chimney and quickly engulfed the second floor of their home they share together with their cat (Skyler) dog (Judy) and many other barnyard animals. While the fire was mostly contained to the second floor the damage from smoke and water affected most of their home and belongings. They are working with their insurance company and are lucky to be receiving help from them during this time. Unfortunately they have been quoted to not be back in their home for well over a year. they have lost all of the clothes, toiletries and miscellaneous items among so many other important personal mementos. We are asking for your help with donations so they can slowly get back to some semblance of a normal life in the upcoming months as they navigate this great loss.
