Help Support Her During Her Transplant and Fight Against Complications from Type 1 Diabetes.

Our dear friend, Mary Robusto, a hardworking woman in her 30s from Cleveland, Ohio, has been battling serious health complications caused by Type 1 Diabetes since she was just a child. Recently, her health took a devastating turn. She began losing her eyesight, suffered a mini-stroke, and her kidneys have now completely failed. She is preparing for a kidney transplant soon, and her life has changed overnight.

She has always worked hard, supported herself, and never asked for help. Now, for the first time in her life, she has no choice. Her doctors have made it clear that she will soon be unable to work as she prepares for transplant surgery and recovery.

We are humbly asking for help with the things insurance does not cover, including:

• Medication

• Medical bills and treatments

• Transportation to doctor appointments

• Food and gas

• Basic living expenses

This goal will help keep her afloat during the months she will be unable to work. She deserves time to heal without worrying about how she will afford her next meal or how she will drive to her medical appointments.
