As many of you have heard, we lost an AMAZING MAN. He was a dedicated, loving husband, and father.
While driving home from work in the dark and rain. I received a call. A call no one wants to receive. The doctor said, "He tried to revive him, but was unsuccessful". He said, "You had no pulse upon arrival of the hospital." I told the doctor to tell you to hold on, I was only an hour away. I could make your heart beat again because I was your heart." When I got there, I was too late. He was so cold. I kissed him and waited for his eyes to open, but they remained partially closed. I did notice his smile as he laid there resting.
Lee Spikes, Thank you for 21 years of unconditional love. You were such an amazing man, with a BIG heart. You are loved by so many people. I am proud to be the one you called Wife.
Many have asked, "What can we do to help?" So a few of his friends and classmates from Westinghouse came up with the idea of starting a memorial fund to help with the final expenses.
The military will not pay for it all, and due to his health issues, (needing a new heart, kidney and liver) the insurance dropped him. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Whether it be .50 cent, it will be a blessing! I am truly grateful. Thank you, everyone!
