A little help can go a long way

Hello, my name is Jessica and I am Diane Wagner's niece. It is with the heaviest heart that I share this news about Diane.

On January 3rd, 2024, Diane was diagnosed with an incurable disease called CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease). CJD is a cruel and vicious degenerative brain disease that can neither be treated, nor slowed, and will soon take Diane's life. This disease is extremely rare, the odds of being diagnosed with CJD are one in a million.

Diane's family's wish is to be able to get her released from the hospital and into Hospice care for her to be able to live her remaining days in peace, surrounded by family and friends. She will require expensive, round-the-clock nursing care to keep her safe and comfortable in the short time she has left. The money raised through this Go Fund Me Campaign will be used to give her the ability to live her final days with peace, comfort and security.

Diane is only 63 years old and just a few weeks ago, she was healthy and living an everyday normal life. Diane is loved by so many. She is so thoughtful, funny, fun and thinks about others over herself. There are no words to describe the heartache that we are feeling right now.
