Hatay, Turkey Earthquake Help
Donation protected
Two major earthquakes have wiped out entire neighborhoods in Hatay. One of my close friends–a Turkish woman I have known for many years–witnessed a massive dearth of organizational support on the ground and gathered a group to mobilize and provide support themselves. My friends are on the ground providing life-saving support to the most vulnerable people navigating the difficult terrain with their local volunteers. They have first-hand knowledge of the needs in the area and are on the ground in Antakya delivering tents, heaters, shoes, jackets, and other urgent supplies directly reported by the survivors.
My friend is personally making sure the money reaches the most difficult-to-reach people in Hatay (Antakya, Iskenderun, Arsuz). All funds raised will go directly to providing much-needed aid and support to those affected by the earthquake. I am asking for your support in this effort. For context, prices for the provision of specific items are listed below. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference.
We are a bunch of concerned global citizens who are raising funds through our hobbies/passions/special events. Each one of us has a different story on why and how we want to support Turkey that we hope to share with you personally.
