Robin's Recovery

The Man, the Myth, the Legend, Robin Congreve Mr. Invincible.

Unfortunately Thursday 30th of September our dear Robin had a fall. Robin and Susy have had their beautiful yet challenging retirement boat sitting at Johns Creek for the past few years with what seems to be set back after set back with engine room fires to cyclones and now this. The access to the boat while its been out of the water is what we call "thefuckingladder" because this is not just any ladder, it stands about 7-8 meters and it appears he has fallen from the very top.

Still unclear if Robin slipped or tripped of if there is a medical explanation behind the reason for this fall however this is the devastating tragedy that has unfolded.
After being taken to Karratha hospital with a fractured skull and a brain bleed Robin was induced into a coma and flown down to royal perth hospital where he is currently in recovery. Every day feels long as we wait for answers and Susy, Quinn and Cassidy keep rotating out shifts during visiting hours so he is never left alone. Some news is scary and its difficult to understand what is going on but the main thing is that's he's surrounded by his family and all the positive thoughts, prayers and messages from all the beautiful people in his life.

It's amazing to see how much love and support everyone has expressed to the family, it means the world to us. The recovery road looks long and this means there will be a long stay in Perth. Thankfully PATS in Karratha are helping with some of the costs for Susy but other costs are still adding up and the family would appreciate even the smallest amount of help just to get through this difficult and uncertain time. Plus we all know Robin would crack you all a corona for just even reading this.
We have a support page on Facebook where Susy is doing her best to keep everyone updated on Robins progress so feel free to join if you wish to get updates. If a donation is too hard to manage but you would like to help out please continue to send all the positive energy Robins way.
I personally would love to read stories you have with Robin so I can keep picturing him as the strong incredible man he is knowing he's a fighter.
