Emergency Moving

Mid February my landlord was charged with 17 housing violations describing the building as a death trap. That last snowstorm in March I had no heat and the Health Department came and wrote him up for an additional 10 violations of health and safety.  He gave me a 30 day notice and I have been searching for an apartment that takes my "furry children" and is affordable. I have to be out 4/23 and the best I could find was a $700 a month place on the east side. I need to raise about $1400 by 4/21 to give the landlord his 1st month and security. Every penny I make has to pay off the utilities on this place and renting a truck; paying movers,  and getting a used fridge. I can wait on the stove since I have a toaster oven and microwave.  I could use some area rugs as well 2) 9X12 and 2) 6X8, and a swifter dust mop and carpet cleaner extractor if anyone has a used one.

I have no problem living on sandwiches and soup, but my dog and cats will get fed first!

There is no assistance available for the rent/deposit/moving expenses through the County or Charities for a single person. They suggested I dump my girls and move to a rooming house!Sorry to have such short notice, but I just found the place Thursday!
