Hello, my name is April, and I’ve created this fundraiser to help my father, Roman Pascual Jr., who is currently recovering from a life-changing spinal injury in the Philippines.

On February 26, 2025, my father was involved in a devastating accident. In a split second, he was electrocuted and fell, resulting in a T4/T5 vertebrae fracture that has left him paralyzed from the chest down. This unexpected and heartbreaking event has been unimaginable for our family.

Before the accident, my dad was strong, independent, and always willing to help others. He was the first to offer a hand to anyone in need and would happily drive people who needed it. A skilled craftsman, he had a gift for creating beautiful and durable work, whether in metal or wood.

Right now, he is in the Intensive Care Unit, preparing for surgery to stabilize his spine. His recovery from paralysis is uncertain, but we remain hopeful. My father has shown incredible resilience and determination, and so have we.

The outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and the community across the Philippines, Ireland, and beyond has been overwhelming. We are truly grateful for your kindness and for keeping our dad in your prayers during this challenging time.

While the road to recovery will be difficult, we are filled with hope, knowing that with your continued support, my dad has a real chance at recovery. We are reaching out to ask for your help in providing him with the resources and care he desperately needs.

Though the healthcare system covers some basic medical expenses, the specialized care, rehabilitation, and home modifications my father requires are not covered. Your donation will help fund:
