On December 11, 2015, I received the devastating news that I have breast cancer. After multiple biopsis and MRI I learned that it was HER2+ invasive ductal carcinoma.
Unfortunately, after a recent divorce and on my first year of starting a new company, I was caught without insurance. Under the grace of God I was able to sign up prior to the cut off of Obamacare and was able to qualify for insurance January 1st and started my chemo January 12, 2016. Despite having insurance, I am facing mounting medical bills, premiums and out of pocket expense on a fixed income.
I have made the decission for a double mastectomy scheduled sometime in June after I'm done with chemo. I will also receive radiation during this time and reconstruction in that month. Then, finish off the year with more chemo.

Although I have been blessed so far and will continue to fight, I am humbly asking for your support during this time of need. It's going to be a long year but a fight worth fighting. Any unused funds will be donated to breast cancer awareness and research.
On behalf of my entire family, I thank you for your support and prayers.
