Update: Thank you to everyone who has donated so far to make surgery and immediate treatment possible. Amber has received pathology results that state that the cancer is localized, but aggressive, and they began the first of their treatments today.

Hello, my name is Kitty, and I am asking for your help, as my good friend Amber has recently been diagnosed with bladder cancer.

Cancer treatment in Japan, even under National Health Insurance, isn’t free, and treatment for bladder cancer is usually an extended process. This diagnosis has been entirely unexpected, and so I’m raising money to help support Amber’s treatment, including surgery and chemo/immunotherapy.

All money donated will be used toward Amber’s treatment, and any excess funds will be used to cover any unexpected charges and bills in the case that Amber is unable to work during treatment.
