Help Save Mya

Hi, my name is Nicole and I am Mya's Auntie. Mya is the most sweetest soul I have ever known and she just had her 5th birthday.

Mya went to her vet on Monday May 26th because she had a fever and was vomiting and not eating. She ended up spending the next couple days there to get IV therapies for pain, nausea and hydration and monitoring.

Sadly, her vet decided it would be in her best interest to go to the Emergency Animal Hospital and from there she was admitted and had emergency surgery. They removed part of her small intestine and did a resection of her pancreas to duodenum.

It has been so hard to see Mya in so much pain, and we are not allowed to visit very often so she is in a lot of distress. She was not able to eat after surgery which is what would be expected. She is on a feeding tube now. Unfortunately, her liver enzymes are at a critical level and they suspect damage was done during her surgery. We still have no idea when she will be sent home.

So far, the bills have been over $15, 000 and they send us a bill everyday before they proceed with treatment. We, her family, are asking for help to reimburse the cost of her hospitalization so far.
