CLEAN DRINKABLE WATER

It would mean the world to me, my team, and the people of the many forgotten villages of Togo, West Africa, if you would donate and help us continue doing this great and necessary work. Our mission is to provide clean drinkable water to as many people as possible by building solar-powered water wells. Our team installs these wells, enlisting the people in the village to assist during every phase. Then we train them to maintain the wells to ensure they will continue to be a source of clean drinkable water for generations to come. We started QEWFA with hope and a genuine desire to HELP, and now over 2000 people in and around the village of Katoe, Togo, West Africa, have access to clean potable water for the first time in their lives. They have reported decreased instances of water-borne illness and its many complications, reduced infant mortality rates, increased school attendance, improved hygienic conditions, and an overall improvement in the quality of life in the village.

 

After news of the success of the well we built in Katoe spread to neighboring villages, we received an overwhelming number of inquiries and requests for us to come to build a well in their respective villages. On a recent trip back to Togo in December 2021 - January 2022, we narrowed all applicants down to two villages with the most need in locations that would help the most people. Still, we need YOUR help to make these projects happen. When we break down the cost to construct these wells and consider how many people can use them, we found that it costs merely $16 for a person to have access to clean drinkable water for the rest of their life!
