Support Laura's Fight Against Cancer

In December last year, having just turned 23, Laura was diagnosed with a stage 3 Cancerous Sarcoma (tumour) in her back which had left her without any feeling in her left leg. While we had all hoped it would be simple surgical procedure to remove, unfortunately due to the size and position of the tumour this is not the case. Therefore, Laura will be undergoing 6 months of intense chemotherapy at the Chris O'Brien Life House, where she will be receiving chemo treatments 3-4 days a fortnight with overnight stays. This is in the hope that the treatment will shrink the tumour enough for it then to be operated on, however if this is not the case Laura will have to undergo further radiotherapy treatment.
Laura is incredibly brave and at the tender age of 23, has somehow managed to keep a brave face throughout all of this. As her friends, we can speak to her sense of humour, love of life and vivaciousness. Her quick witted humour hasn't been lost throughout this whole process, she even refers to her tumour as 'Cletus' and tells us how she is going to kick Cletus' ass!
With the diagnosis that Laura has received, the stresses are huge, we are simply hoping to relive some of the financial strains that accompany this, as she is unable to work fully throughout the treatment. Any donation is much appreciated and the money you give will contribute towards; medical costs, prescriptions, travel to and from treatments and living costs such as bills, rent and food and lastly generally helping Laura win this fight.
For those of you that know Loz will know that she would not want to ask for help and we almost had to force/coerce her into letting us set up this Go Fund Me Page but we all know that she would be the first one to do this for one of us.
The reality is that Laura is in for a long and hard fight and we would really appreciate any donation you can make.
