Hit by uninsured driver. Need help!

It's hard for me to write this and ask for help, but I do finally need help. I’m humbled and embarrassed.

On Feb 5th I was rear ended hard by an uninsured driver while fully stopped at a red light while driving for Uber. When the police came she provided an invalid insurance card. It was commercial liability insurance and not auto insurance. She actually went to the lengths of filing a claim that she knew would be denied. When it was denied all she said was that she was sorry.

When I learned she was uninsured I contacted Uber and my personal auto insurer. Because I was driving for Uber, my insurance cannot help. So this now falls under my Uber insurance. Unfortunately Uber's uninsured motorist policy carries a $2500 deductible for my auto damage. I'm working on finalizing the repair estimate but it will exceed the deductible amount. Fortunately my medical expenses will be covered.

I've been driving for Uber since Covid haulted my ability to tour. That car is my lifeline. Unfortunately I was living month to month as it was while I was working. I'm now unable to work until I get this car back on the road. I'm concerned about not being able to pay for rent, the car, taking care of the dog and everything else that life throws at me. I don't know what else to do so I'm turning to you for help.
