Thomas's Cancer Battle

Hi, my name is Stacy Kirkham and I'm creating this on behalf of my husband and our family.  Thomas was diagnosed with stage T3N1 colorectal cancer on 5/20/22. Thomas has dealt with a neurological condition most of his adult life called non-specific cerebral ataxia which robbed him of his ability to play sports and walk in early in his adult life.  Now he's faced with a cancer that the ataxia complicates the treatment for. We have a plan but it's a longer protocol with more out of pocket expenses and with Thomas and the way his body reacts things could change from minute to minute, we simply won't know until we get started. Even the type chemo normally used has had to be modified to lessen the neurological impacts. We're facing a mountain only God can move and we know He can and will if it is in His plans.  We know times are difficult with the rising prices of literally everything and if you can't give PLEASE do not feel even a tiny bit bad because we certainly understand. I was very hesitant to even create this because so many are struggling but we know my paid time off will not be enough as his journey will be long and difficult with twists and turns that we must be prepared to handle.
