Jantz was a one of a kind soul, naturally fearless and could never pass up an adventure. He would give you his shoes even if they were his only pair. He was an amazing artist, musician, brother, son, friend, traveling partner, soul mate, or whoever you need him to be. Unfortunately he also struggled with a sever mental illness that ultimately was his demise. As his family we tried to support him in any way we could, as did so many of his friends. We are setting up this Go Fund Me to help pay for these unexpected funeral costs, but more importantly we want to help others who are also struggling with mental illness. So these donations will be passed onto a local recovery program in Freeport, Illinois, Sojourn House. While they focus on addiction recovery the most, they were so helpful over the years with Jantz's specific needs and issues. Jantz had the biggest heart and this is best way we can think of for him to continue to help others.
