BRYNE'S CANCER FUND

I've started this page to help my brother, Bryne Mumbauer, who was diagnosed with LYMPHOMA  cancer a year ago June.  He went through his first treatments called R-CHOPs, last fall down at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and by all counts, we thought he beat it (hence, the cake in the pic taken last Christmas, Bryne 1, Cancer 0 . .), however, in July he began to feel the same symptoms, lost an incredible amount of weight, and was so weak he couldn't climb a set of stairs.  We went back down, and they confirmed, his cancer was back . . . . since they can't use the same chemo regimen twice, he is participating in a case study at TJU for BOCE,  a new chemo "standard of care" specifically designed to treat LYMPHOMA.   Unfortuantely, the new treatment entails chemo drugs being administered 3 days in a row, then a 4th day for the Newlasta shot that is needed after all chemo treatments.  This would require him having to travel to Philadelphia and back, 4 days in a row, for two more series of treatments.  He's been so sick for so long that he has no money at all.  I am hoping that with your donations, he will be able to stay in Philly overnight for his treatments, minimizing the amount of stress that a road trip that long, and that often, will cause.  He also has bills to pay, and although we're trying to cover them as best we can, it hasn't been easy.  So I am sending this out in the hopes that we can accumulate some funds to help him get through this very difficult time in his life.  If you can give, that would be wonderful, every dollar helps ♥ And if you cannot afford a dollar contribution, would you please send prayers, cause again, every prayer helps.  I thank you all in advance for caring, and praying . . he's gonna be better, but it will take some time.  Thanks again ♥
