For almost five years our friend and colleague John Marshall has been battling the devastating disease ALS.
He's been fighting so bravely, but our boy is tired. The last two months have been spent in and out of hospital rooms... he wants to go home.
John needs 24-hour respiratory care but Medicare won't cover the cost of in-home specialists, so right now he is at a specialty care center where he has round-the-clock care and treatment.
This center is over an hour away from home.
Let's get him to New Castle, PA, to the house he grew up in, where he'll never be alone again.
