Help Support Angela Curry's Fight Against Breast Cancer

In February our mom was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. Since then, she and our dad have been doing everything possible to ensure she receives the best care available.

She’ll be working closely with leading oncologists in Tennessee, with support and oversight from the world-renowned team at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Her treatment plan includes six months of chemotherapy in Tennessee, followed by surgery and radiation in Houston. This will mean relocating to Houston for at least six months toward the end of the year.

We are confident Mom will come through this journey stronger than ever but alongside the emotional and physical challenges, there are also very real practical and financial ones.

Many of you know our parents own and operate Gia’s Kitchen together, their newly- launched Italian food truck in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Due to the demands of treatment and travel required, they’ll need to scale back operations and shut down completely at the end of this year —affecting their income during an already difficult time.

In addition to standard chemotherapy, Mom will also be working with an integrative, functional oncologist to help support her body holistically throughout treatment. While this care is critical to her healing and well-being, it is not covered by insurance.

Though the diagnosis came as a shock, we know nothing is a surprise to God, and we trust that He is working all things together for good. We deeply believe in the healing power of Jesus and we are expectant for a miracle!
