Art Supplies For Sitton Elementary

 

Sitton Elemenatry School is located deep within the heart the St. Johns neighborhood of Portland Oregon.  We are a title 1 school with just over 410 students.  Our full time Art Teacher sees every class every week. Sometimes he sees a class more than once a week. Art supplies get eaten up very quickly. Last school year the district gave our school a gift of $3000 worth of art supplies. This group of supplies was crucial to the success of our students. This year we will not be receiving a gift like that.  We do not have an art budget so our art teacher must make due with what he can find and get donated.  The specialty items such as water color paper and brushes of certain sizes are hard to come by unless you have a budget.  Please help our 410 students have a well-rounded year of the arts by donating any amount you can.  Once we have made it to our goal Mr. Baca will take the one lump sum, donate it to the school, and this will be used to set up an art fund for the year. Every penny will be used to buy our students things like watercolor paint, pencils, charcoal, and many other art supplies. SUPPORT THE ARTS IN SCHOOLS!
