Project Cathy

In November, 2013 Cathy Figuracion was diagnosed with brain cancer (called Glioblastoma). Cathy has had surgery, of which they removed what they could:but not 100%. She has been in and out of the hospital for the past few months, receiving radiation and chemotherapy. This past weekend she was released from the hospital, unfortunately, there is no more they can do. The prognosis at this time is that Cathy may only be with us for another 6-9 months. I'm sure many of you will want to visit, BUT, please call ahead to make sure she is up to it and to ensure that she is not already with family, friends or doing physical therapy.

What can you do? Cathy would like to have at least 1 more ride in her '71 convertible. At this time, that is not possible as the car has been under restoration for the last year. Much has been done, but there is still much to do. We (Tom Rightler, JJ and I) have assessed the and have come up with a game plan to get the car finished in the next 2-3 of months, sooner if possible!  I've posted a picture of what the car looked like in the past for those that may not remember.  We want to make her show worthy... one more time!

We are calling this "Project Cathy" of which you can donate funds if you would like to help us out. Give what you can, as even a little by many will add up very quickly. Our goal is $8000. Any funds left over from the restoration will be given to the Figs.
