Pros vs. Girls Charity Softball Game

The Manatee Twisters03 is a wonderful group of 10 & 11 year old girls who play on a competitive travel softball team. These energetic girls play year round... yes- no breaks, in roughly two tournaments a month with each one being no more than two hours from our home base in Bradenton, Florida. Impressively all the girls need absolutely no convincing to show up to practice. They love to play and they love each other.

PROS vs. GIRLS Charity Softball Game is our big and exciting annual fundraiser where the girls get a chance to do what they are passionate about, play softball. And not just against anyone but against professional, both major and minor league, baseball players. How awesome, right? The money raised from this event goes directly to the girls and is used to offset the hefty cost of travel expenses, equipment, uniforms and tournament fees. Also, in an effort to teach our girls the importance of giving back we partner up with the Women's Resource Center of Manatee and donate part of the proceeds back to them. So, doubly good causes.

Additionally, the Manatee Twisters 03 team is always looking for ways to get involved positively in the community. All our players strive for excellence on the field as well as academically. We encourage the girls to be strong, disciplined and emphasize the importance of team work in a fun environment with hopes that they carry these lessons for a lifetime.
