As some of you know, our father Joe Tamburello has been in the hospital since Thanksgiving with complications from acute pancreatitis. His pancreas is necrotic, he suffered from renal failure, respiratory issues, & went into cardiac arrest twice before emergency surgery. He then underwent seven additional surgeries. He is the hardest working & most selfless man, providing for his wife, Pamela, and all five children without hesitation.
Through no fault of his own, circumstances changed just prior to falling ill that left him uninsured for the first time. If you know Joe, you know his work ethic & pride, so he would never ask for assistance on his own. However, a hospital stay of seven weeks (and counting) as well as a long recovery including rehab, would be a tremendous financial burden for anyone. We would like for him to focus solely on getting well & not stress over finances.
Every little bit helps & we appreciate the outpouring of love & support received from family & friends. It truly means the world to us!
