Hi everyone-

I’m Shilynn, Dons fiancé/Wife, and I’m reaching out for help raising money to pay for dons medical bills. As many of you know on 07-15-2022 at 12:55am Don was severely injured  that caused him to have a massive stroke, seizures and brain bleed from where he was hit, he also has a broken neck and a hematoma on the back of his head from hitting the ground, he is now suffering from brain injury.

As we progress into our 9th day at the hospital the doctors have let us know that Don will never fully return to himself before this; With good therapy and rehab we will try to get him back as much as we can, and the doctors are pretty confident he will eventually remember everything up until the day of or a day or two before.. 

Don will have to relearn how to eat, drink, use the restroom, walk and talk again. He has short term memory loss but they will be giving him some new medication after surgery today to help improve this. Hospital wise we won’t be released for 1-2 more weeks if Don continues to progress upwards. 

Don has not been working for a few months and was just about to start working a new job- with that don does not have medical insurance or any money to help pay bills and I am the only one with income for our family at this time. We were supposed to be legally married in a month, but because we aren’t I am unable to put him on my insurance.

I can’t fathom the cost of all this but I know it’s not going to be cheap, and we will never be able to afford this, I have applied for every grant possible, but I’m doing the one thing I hate I’m asking for your help. 

Whether it is a penny to a million dollars honestly anything helps- and only donate if you can please, I do not want to impose on your finances.
