We lost our mother/stepmother last night to an illness. She unfortunately did not have a current life insurance policy.

So far, I have not been able to find any sort of assistance or aid to help cover the cost of cremation, which is much more expensive than we even realized.

We would like to be able to cremate our mom and give her a memorial service.
