Saving Peach

PEACH:  A tail of human neglect and forgiveness (scroll down to read his story) This is Peach. He is a scared and shy, yet the most forgiving little being on earth. Despite suffering from human negligence, he is a ray of sunshine that will wag his tail furiously at his trusted humans.  The vets in China and now in Canada all have suggested that he be euthanized because he was either "too ugly" or "too expensive" to care for.  He is in desperate need of 4 surgeries, including a partial penis amputation, eye surgery, and a leg/foot surgery for carpal hyperextension. The vets and surgeon in Canada estimated a cost of approximately $10,000 for all his surgeries.  They all severely impact his ability to function on a daily basis. He desperately needs the funding to help him live a better life.  Please consider donating to his surgeries - every little donation counts! THIS IS HIS STORY: Peach was saved as an emaciated puppy on the streets of China and crammed into an overpopulated, poorly-run shelter that left him starving and too scared to beg for food. For the first few years of his life, he had little room to grow and his legs became deformed, his hind lacked muscle and he was severely malnourished. He had his first chance at a new beginning when a stranger took him into their home. But of no fault of his own, glass fell into his eye and the family were not willing to give him medical care. His eye was left untreated until a year later when a kind lady in China funded his eye surgery. But humans failed him a second time when the vet removed his eye improperly and didn't bother sewing his eye shut. With flesh exposed to air, his eye is now at risk of infection. Peach finally had the chance to fly to Canada and live the life he deserves. But for the third time, humans failed him when, prior to his flight, the vets neuter surgery left him with paraphimosis.  His journey up until this point has been rough. But against all odds, he is now in a temporary foster home in Canada (under Fetch and Releash Dog Rescue) and in desperate need of a funds to become healthy and to FINALLY find his forever home. He just needs OUR help to get there.
