Lori Johnson

If you have had the privilege of knowing Lori Johnson, you would know she is selfless - always putting others first and optimistic - her best accessory being her smile. She recently welcomed her sixth grandchild this Christmas Eve. But after a joy-filled holiday season, the Johnson family received horrifying news. After going to a post-Christmas movie with her oldest daughter and an intended visit to her father in the rehab facility, Lori did not feel well.  On the evening of December 26th, she was rushed to the hospital where they acquired knowledge of Lori's brain hemorrhage stroke. Considering Lori is a healthy, beautiful 55 - year old women, this news was nothing short of shocking. As her close family and friends we have been praying, and assisting Lori as much as we possible can. Lori plays a key role in her family business, D&D Well & Pumps, and does more work than one employee could ever be responsible for. In addition to that, she is a hard-working mom and grandmother. Her illness has truly made us appreciate all she does for us even more than we already did. She has successfully gotten through the main surgery and is hopefully moving from ICU to the inpatient rehab unit here at St Lukes in the next day or two.
