BRING BURLESQUE BACK!

I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to help revive "The Best Show in Town," a beloved burlesque-themed cabaret show that first graced the stage at The Newhampton Arts Centre (now Wolverhampton Arts Centre) in 2010. Over the years, this show has brought joy, laughter, and unforgettable performances to our community, but now it faces an uncertain future.

Despite its popularity and the incredible talent of our performers, financial challenges have always made it difficult to break even. Venue costs, performer fees, and promotional expenses have taken a toll, but the magic of this show is undeniable. I have been consistently asked to bring it back, and I know that many of you share this passion.

In recent years, I have explored various venues, including Brewood Jubilee Hall and Pattingham Village Hall, and each show has been a testament to the talent and dedication of everyone involved. However, with the unfortunate closure of venues like Linden House Tettenhall, I lost my staging and faced personal challenges during the lockdowns, forcing me to start from scratch.

The Vision: My dream is to take "The Best Show in Town" to small, intimate venues with a capacity of around 120 people in local villages and towns. This will provide a unique opportunity for audiences to experience tasteful, adult entertainment right in their own communities—something that may be a first for many.
