Help Daisy Get Back on Her Paws

Hi, I’m Daisy Holmes, the beloved and unofficial emotional support animal to the Holmes family.

I’m more than just a dog—For 10 years, I’ve been a trusted companion and unofficial nanny to my boys, Gabe and Theo; man’s best friend to Adam, and spirit guide and cheerleader to my main girl, Helen. But now, I need your help.

I love my people with all my heart, and I’m doing my best to stay strong for them. But recently, I faced a sudden challenge. A few days ago, while walking with my family, I started losing my balance. I tried to keep up, but within just 24 hours, I couldn’t walk at all. Helen and Adam rushed me to the emergency vet, where I was diagnosed with IVDD, a slipped disk caused by deteriorating cartilage. The inflammation in my lower back has made it difficult for me to move, leaving me dragging my back legs.

I’m on medication now, and while there’s hope for my recovery, the vet bills are quickly piling up. My family is looking at a long road of treatments and care, and even a small contribution—like $5 or $10—can make a big difference in helping me get back on my paws.
