Until We Meet Again - Jordan (Zaze) Ali Fund

On Sunday, October 31, 2021, my five year old niece, Zaze, was taken away from our family as a result of a senseless accident which happened near her home.

It was common for the kids in her neighborhood to play, ride their scooters & bicycles after school and weekends. The neighborhood was safe and in a gated community in N. Fort Myers, Florida. On the day before Halloween approximately 4:45pm, Zaze was riding her scooter with her brother and sister, when she was struck by an SUV. The driver of the SUV was seen and warned on many occasions to drive cautiously when kids were playing out on the street. Details regarding the accident is still under investigation.

I received a call from my brother, Andy, telling me that Zaze was being airlifted to the Tampa General Hospital Children's Trauma Unit. My world was shooked when I heard the news. I thought to myself how could this happen to my niece. She is such a sweet girl. My brother and sister-in-law drove to the hospital and were given details of Zaze's fatal injuries which were not promising. My brother and sister-in-law watched helplessly as Zaze was being resuscitated during her surgeries. No parent should have to witness what they did. Zaze's tiny body could not handle any more human intervention. Instead of trick or treating with her friends and family on Halloween, at approximately 7:02am, Jordan "Zaze" Ali succumbed to her injuries and earned her wings.

***Please drive slowly and cautiously in your neighborhoods. Stay off your cellphone and keep your eyes on the road.***

Zaze was a kindergartner attending Bayshore Elementary. She was an old soul who loved to swim and play with her siblings. She had an out going personality and had a voice to match it. I could hear her now in her raspy sweet voice saying, "Uncle Jordan, I love you." She was not shy about expressing what she felt or wanted. She loved her food and her eyes would light up eating her mama's cooking.

Zaze we miss you dearly. Our hearts ache to see you, hear you, and hug you one last time. God's plan is unclear. We do not know why you were taken away from us so soon. At this moment, our family is at a lost and not sure what the future holds without you. Your cousins, uncles, aunties, and grandparents have traveled from all over the Country to support your mom, dad, brother (age 6) and sisters (age 9 and 14). They have come to say I love you and to fly high sweet angel, until we meet again.

This account is established by her Uncle Jordan, who Zaze was named after. We are asking everyone who reads this to share Zaze's story. We are raising funds from a few outlets: Https://givesendgo.com/wemissyoujordan and GoFundMe Organized by Louis D Ambrosio. Funds raised will go towards paying for Jordan "Zaze" Ali's funeral expenses and medical bills.

Zaze's Wake and Funeral information will be posted as a status update on this site. Thank you kindly, Jordan and Ali Family (Andrew, Mari, Sami, Natalaiya, AJ).
