Is this really happening?!?! PLEASE READ!

As most of you know Dan is recovering well in a therapy facility in Toronto. He has some blood clots in his left arm & left leg. As if things couldn’t get any worse for our family...they did. Shannon has been dealing with stomach issues for years, she did have her gallbladder removed & these attacks were still happening. She has been to the hospital several times & left with no answers. Until Thursday January 7th, Shannon could no longer take the pain & went to the ER. There, she was explaining her symptoms & how she has lost a lot of weight. This concerned the dr so he ran tests & did a cat scan. What they found shocked us all, they found a mass & have diagnosed it as colon cancer. Now we are hoping it hasn’t spread to any other organs but the dr does see a shadow on the lymphnodes. She has a consultation on Monday January 11th, then a biopsy & colonoscopy to follow. After the results (7-10 day wait) she will be undergoing surgery to remove all or part of her bowel depending on the results. We are in disbelief & very, very saddened by this new news. We appreciate all of the support you have all shown & thank you all so very much. There will more trips to hospitals, drs, prescription costs & so much more now that Shannon is not able to work. ❤️❤️❤️
