Sawyer Strong

As many of you know, in December, after several weeks of testing, Sawyer and was diagnosed with HLH. With the new diagnosis, chemotherapy was the recommended form of treatment. We have all watched him  conquer these chemo treatments, and will the miraculous, healing hand of our Father, we watched him WIN the battle over the HLH.  He was feeling so much better and getting back to himself.  Then, while in for his routine monthly blood work in June, Sawyer was not feeling well. Unfortunately, when getting the blood work back, the Doctor found some things of concern. He was sent back to Children's  Hospital in Little Rock where he was given the diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.   Now,  our sassy, to the point,  hilarious, too smart for his own good Sawyer is battling again.  They started Chemo the next day and will continue treatments for many months to come.   This family is precious, and they need our help.  We have seen the Lord heal and provide miracles for Sawyer before, and I believe we will see him do it again! The next couple of years will include hundreds of doctors visits, thousands of prayers sent up on their behalf, and bi-monthly trips to Little Rock that they are funding themselves.
