Perú Mission Team 2016
George Prehn, Cliff Maxfield, Pat Safani, Drew Bailey, Cheryl Jorgensen, Pastor Nathan Damm, & Kelly Damm
We are asking for your support as we plan and prepare to go to Urubamba, Perú on January 14-26. We will be working with Scott & Amanda Miller, missionaries to Perú with Baptist Mid-Missions. We will be ministering in their church on two Sundays through preaching, testimony, and music. Pastor Nathan will be conducting a workshop during a pastor’s conference, George will be heading up the construction and painting at the church, and Cliff will teach a class at VBS. Kelly, Pat, Cheryl, and Drew will be providing craft supplies and helping at VBS. We are excited about the opportunities and experiences that lay ahead. It is our desire to be used by God as we seek to help and encourage our missionaries and show the love of Christ to the people of Perú.
As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. We are hoping to raise $3,800 for the team by January 4th. The money will go towards travel, food, and housing expenses. We will also need to purchase craft supplies for VBS, painting supplies, and gifts for the pastors.
