Cancer treatment

Donation protected
Hi,

I'm Ailsa, 46 year old who had a lump appear under my arm in Nov 2021, I went straight to the doctor and they sent me for a scan in the hospital, but I had covid at the time, so when I went for the scan, they said lots of people had, had the same issue with lumps in thw armpit appearing with having covid, so i needed to wait 4-6 weeks to see if it went.
It didn't and on Feb 2nd I had another scan and they did a biopsy.
February 7th my doctor phoned and told me the bad news it was cancer and it was metastatic, I went private that week for a mammogram as the doctor said it could take 2 weeks or more to be seen in the breast clinic, which it did!
I then got into the breast clinic system (and I have to say all the staff were and are amazing and so helpful to me)
I had more mammograms, and biopsies done, CT scan and 2 MRI scans, I was set for a mastectomy on March 30th, but the MRI showed that the cancer was in my lymph nodes in my neck, and that I would chemotherapy first before surgery.
I received a letter on the 20th April saying I wouldn't have an initial meeting with oncology team until May 17th.
I have been waiting  with the lump since the end of Nov and had no treatment to try and kill the cancer and would like to be able to pay to get an appointment to get on treatment asap
