Dear Family and Friends,
For all those that aren’t aware my dad (Arturo Arias) is currently fighting for his life in Ecuador. On September 27, 2022 @ 3am in the morning my dad was rushed to the emergency room. He had suffered a heart attack. We were so fortunate to get him the medical services he needed, but because time was of essence he went into a coma and is on life support. No one was expecting this to happen. There are many tests being done at the moment to help him. Every bit of time passing by is crucial for my mom, siblings, and myself.
My dad is a type 2 diabetic patient. He was diagnosed with diabetes back in 2015. But that never stopped him from living his day to his fullest potential. My dad is someone that thrives in life. Someone that is always willing to extend his hand and help others no matter what the circumstance is. He’s an individual with a an amazing heart (I know because I got that from him). He’s always a great time to have around wether it’s at a family gathering, watching his favorite soccer team, or just talking about family. As we all are aware diabetes can take a toll on other organs, and my dad was one of those individuals that got affected by it.
In these trying times my family and I are doing every little thing to save my dad’s life. Hospital stay, tests, and medication are all resources needed to help him. Being in a whole different country has brought up a challenge for us but we aren’t giving up. My family and I are accepting any small contribution. Whatever we can gather will be use for any medical expenses that are needed.. It is one step closer to helping me bring my father/Bestfriend back home to us.
