Honoring Our Dad
Donation protected
Our dad had a way of making everyone feel like an old friend, whether you’d known him for years or just met him at the store. He could strike up a conversation with anyone—cracking a quick joke or diving into a deep talk with a total stranger. No matter where he went, he left people laughing.
But he was more than just a dad. He was a grandfather, son, a brother, an uncle and a friend to so many. He meant something special to everyone who knew him, and he gave his whole heart to the people in his life.
He was the kind of guy who could fix just about anything—though not always in the way you’d expect. If something broke, he’d grab some duct tape, swear it would “work just fine,” and somehow, it usually did. One of his greatest joys was taking his granddaughter Savannah to the park, watching her play, and making sure she always knew how much he loved her. He didn’t ask for much, but he gave so much to those around him. He loved us, his kids, with everything he had, and he was always willing to help—whether it was working on cars, fixing things around the house, or just being there when you needed him. More than anything, he loved his family.
He faced so many challenges with strength, but in the end, his body had been through enough. We will miss him more than words can say, but we take comfort in knowing he’s no longer in pain. Now, we just want to honor him with a farewell that truly reflects the love and life he shared with all of us. If you’re able to help, we’d appreciate it more than we can say.
Thank you for your love, support, and for keeping his memory alive ❤️
