Help Maryann Build a Tiny House

I am fundraising for my dear friend Maryann Palmer, 72. who on Sunday, February 20th, lost her lifelong family home, all of its contents and her beloved cat, Kelly, to a devastating fire. Unfortunately, the house and its contents were uninsurable. 

Our GoFundMe goal is to build Maryann a tiny house on her property. The first steps will be to remove the rubble and level the lot, and we may need a new septic as well. In addition to our GoFundMe, I plan to appeal to local lumber yards and businesses for donations of materials when the time comes.

There is also a donation account set up at Norway Savings Bank; donations can be brought into any NSB branch or mailed to Norway Savings Bank PO Box 347 Norway, ME 04268 with “Maryann Palmer Donation Acct. 8288” written in the pay “to the order of”section of the check.

We are fortunate to have found a studio apartment and donations of furniture for Maryann. As luck would have it, the apartment happens to be within walking distance from the nursing home where her sister resides. The apartment should be ready in a couple of weeks. Maryann will continue to stay with my husband and I until the apartment is ready.
