Hi our names are Ashley, Brandon, and Aether.

We went to court with our apartment complex at the beginning of this year because our AC went out last year in may and didn't get fixed until November just before we went to court.

We had agreed rental payments with the meadows apartments in citrus heights. After I was let go from my job while taking care of my aunt and my husband having 3 jobs close down and lay him off in a year and a half, our rent started getting turned in late because the new jobs would mean new pay schedules.

We were late but never behind on rent, and the office told us that they'd be happy to work with us so we could afford both rent and court payments.

My husband was finally able to get a new job that paid a little better but the crossover left is without the money we needed for a little over a month. We emailed them multiple times trying to let them know what was going on but never got a response.

We received a two week extension but eventually were evicted. We've been applying to different places but they either don't have availability or won't approve people with evictions.

So now we're stuck in motels until we find a place. My husband now has two jobs and I'm applying to every emergency housing program we can but aftershock has driven up the prices for where we're staying (and at every other motel near by) and my husband's check doesn't come until the 9th and they expect us to check out Friday morning. He's donating plasma and doing everything he can to scrape together the money for our stay but we're still short by about 300 dollars, and if we have to leave the hotel my husband will be forced to miss work at both of his jobs this weekend. Which will make paying for a new place even more difficult. Please help us, we're slowly getting in a better position but we're being met with problem after problem.
