CHICAGO OR BUST! RAPID PULSE PERFORMANCE
Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Family,
On January 22nd, 2014, I received a pretty exciting e-mail. I have been accepted into the 2014 RAPID PULSE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL at DEFIBRILLATOR Gallery in Wicker Park, Chicago this June!
I was one of 38 performance artists picked out of a pool of several hundred National and International performance artists. This is a huge opportunity and I will be performing for some prominent people in Chicago.
I decided to create a gofundme page in an effort to raise funds. As some know, I now possess a car but am wanting to raise funds for the cost of food, gas, additional lodging for my care companion, and incidentals (in other words, my car breaks down and I am not trapped 800miles from home). I have no expendable income and, like most, live paycheck to paycheck.
There are no donations to big or small. This page will remain up until May15th, 2014. I will be scheduled to arrive in Chicago no later then the evening of June 10th, 2014 and my departure will be June 16th, 2014. During my stay I will be performing and giving an artist talk and/or workshop.
Please give what you can.
