Fire Took Everything: Family Needs Help

On Thursday May 22nd, our house was destroyed by an electrical fire. Within a half-hour my family has lost nearly everything we own. We are a single income household, both my mom and my step-dad are disabled. My mom suffers chronic pain from back and neck issues, and my step-dad has had a hip replacement.
As it stands we have no home insurance or emergency savings and we’re faced with the toughest financial situation of our lives. Creating this campaign was far from our first option, but between dealing with the remnants of what was supposed to be my parents’ forever home, and suddenly having to rebuild everything we worked for, my family is overwhelmed.
We’re asking for funds to help cover the costs of the following:
- Demolition and removal of our current home,
- A storm water survey needed as per county regulations,
- A new septic tank as per county regulations,
- To rebuild and have a new trailer brought in.
