My Brothers Medical Fund

Seven years ago we got the phone call “Mom, are you sitting down?” I went to the doctor today and they told me I have a brain tumor. Devastated and in disbelief we didn’t want to believe it.

Unfortunately it was true, my brother Eric, was diagnosed with brain cancer.
We then found ourselves in the hospital waiting while he went into surgery (which seemed like days).  Finally the doctor came out and told us he was stable and the tumor was removed. 27 staples in his head, and then chemo and radiation followed. He couldn’t work for 6 months. He was tough through it all. MRI’s every six months.
Now here we are again, seven years later, and Eric started getting headaches and was losing function in his arm and hand.

He went back to the doctor. Imediately they told him no more work and admitted him into the hospital for a couple days to run tests. On November 1st, 2017 we got the results everybody was dreading ANOTHER tumor. Surgery scheduled for November 17th, 2017. We will be sitting in the hospital again praying that everything goes OK.

He will be out of work for awhile. After recovering, the neurologist will have to give him the ok before returning to work.

Eric has always been a giving person and will try to help anyone in need.

Now it is our turn to try and help him.
