Edwin Waldner Sr Medical Expense

We never dreamed we would ever be asking for funds from anyone, but realize God probably sees we have to be humbled so that we can experience what the Lord showed me this morning in Exodus 36: 6 And so the people were restrained from bringing more,7 because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.   As many of you saw on Facebook in October, Edwin has a burst appendix after what we thought was several days of the flu. We thank you all for praying! By the time we got to the hospital he was in serious condition. The situation went from bad to worse after the first surgery, while in recovery, his vitals went wild and they rushed him, back to the operating room with internal bleeding. One of the staples didn't hold and we almost lost him. The nurses saw something they had never seen before, while coming out of anesthesia from the second surgery he was quoting scripture, which is one of his favorite hobbies these days!    We (and our many of our extended families) have been part of Christian Healthcare Ministry for many years and never doubted they would cover the surgeries. To our shock we were refused help on the grounds that Edwin is over 65, even though they never informed us of this. We faithfully sent in our monthly sharing for many years! If you decide not to help with this, could you at least share it so that others over the age of 65 who are with CHC will not be caught in this situation? After we reasoned at length with them, they still would not budge on this! They insisted we should apply for Medicare but we were refused Medicare, since this is now a bill that already occurred.   We are hoping with all the thousands of friends we have, we could all pitch in and help pay it off. If everyone would give $5, $10, $25 or maybe $100, it would help so much. Anything will be welcome and together we can get on top of this burden. God bless you all who cared enough to read this.
