I need help supporting my Father

My name is David Mackay. My father’s name is John and he lives in South Africa. Reaching this goal would allow me to put a roof over his head for 3 months, pay for some medicine/hospital bills and begin providing him with an opportunity to rebuild his life with purpose and dignity. Earlier this year, he was hospitalized for almost 5 months due to complications with his lower intestine caused by Crohn’s Disease . During this time, he lost his job, used up his health insurance and lost his apartment. He left the hospital with no where to go and no way to pay for his medication. A month later, he was discovered in a parking garage slouched over in his car near death. He tried to take his life because he had no where to go and no way of supporting himself.
He was released from the suicide prevention ward in early December and classified as high risk. I have been paying for a motel room to keep a roof over his head but I do not have the resources to continue doing so. I know with certainty that he will either be killed or take his own life if he is forced to live on the steets in Johannesburg. I have run out of options and have no where else to turn.
I have created a 12 month plan to get him back on his feet and hopefully return to America. This campaign should help cover the first 3 months of my plan, focusing on finding him a safe place to sleep while he interviews for jobs. I will be involved in each step of the plan and will manage the funds to ensure every dollar is spent responsibly. Thank you for your generosity.
