Helping a friend and family in need

Hi Friends,

I am reaching out to lend a helping hand to a friend/colleague in need. Gary is a longstanding BW Friend who has managed various cafes in Nyala. Whenever Gary sees you he has a huge smile, works tirelessly to make our shared space comfortable and always is willing to assist when needed. Gary and his family have had a hard few years and I am hoping we can support him through these difficult days. A few years ago his son, Ty, was in a car accident due to rain, Ty lost control causing his car to flip several times. Ty suffered several different injuries, including 3 broken ribs, a lacerated spleen and a broken thoracic spine which is causing him to have no feeling from the waist down. Most recently, Gary's wife has been diagnosed with 3A lung cancer. Gary has had to take a leave of absence to assist his wife with her treatment while simultaneously caring for his son.
